Responsibilities
- Coordinates the unloading, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Coordinates the movement of all items between Island and Shore.
- Supervises, trains, and schedules receiving personnel, managing performance and employee development.
- Assists departments with maintaining accurate inventory records and updates systems for received goods.
- Ensures all shipping and receiving operations comply with safety policies (e.g., OSHA) and procedures.
- Identifies and implements processes to increase efficiency and productivity in receiving.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or warehousing, with supervisory experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including inventory management programs.
- Capability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials.
- Exposure to the elements in the Florida Keys in all weather conditions.
- Boating experience/aptitude: The position requires transporting items by barge between shore and island.
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and record-keeping.

Comfort on the water and working in the FL weather is a must.
