About the Role

As the hotel’s second in command, the Hotel Manager is integral to the seamless day‑to‑day functioning of the hotel. The role involves interfacing with department heads to direct and implement policies, interacting with guests, and supporting the General Manager in administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Interview and hire new employees.
• Receive and resolve guest complaints.
• Assign duties to department heads and monitor performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and operating procedures.
• Support the General Manager in establishing and monitoring policies and guidelines for daily operations.
• Step in and act as General Manager in their absence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or a related field.
• At least 4 years of management experience in the hotel industry.
• Fluent in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
• Familiarity with OSHA, local Department of Health regulations, and laws governing hazardous substances.
• Strong team‑player attitude and willingness to assist team members as needed.

Schedule

Must be able to accommodate varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role involves significant standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, twisting, and climbing stairs.
