HOTEL MAINTENANCE

About the role

Town Pump Hotel Group is seeking motivated and outgoing Hotel Maintenance Personnel who embody our mission statement: "Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service." Town Pump is a rapidly expanding company with numerous career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of grounds, buildings, and guest rooms to meet operational standards.
• Ensure the best possible guest experience within the framework of Town Pump's operating guidelines.
• Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
• Complete all required company and brand-specific training and certifications in a timely manner.
• Report all known issues to services, equipment, and property, and ensure work orders are in place.
• Follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines, wear uniform and nametag always while on shift, and comply with the confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Install small maintenance items as needed for repair under the direction of the supervisor, complete tasks and assignments on daily and preventative maintenance checklist, ensure building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, and weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
• Update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on property, ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock are secure, and practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Complete other duties as needed, such as cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include having a general knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing.
