HOTEL MAINTENANCE

About the role

Town Pump Hotel Group is seeking motivated and outgoing Hotel Maintenance Personnel who embody our core values of genuine hospitality and commitment to guest comfort and service.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards.
• Ensure small repairs and property maintenance are completed as needed.
• Provide shuttle transportation when necessary at some locations.
• Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
• Complete all required company and brand-specific training and certifications in a timely manner.
• Report all known issues to services, equipment, and property, and ensure work orders are in place.
• Follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines, wear uniform and nametag always while on shift, and comply with confidentiality expectations.
• Install small maintenance items as needed under the direction of the supervisor, complete tasks, and assignments on daily and preventative maintenance checklist.
• Ensure building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, and weather-related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
• Update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on property, ensuring all equipment, tools, and inventory stock are secure.
• Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Complete other duties as needed, such as cross-training with the front desk and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or similar field is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain confidentiality.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
