Hotel Housekeeping Inspector- Springhill Suites by Marriott Columbus Easton

About the role

As a Housekeeping Inspector, you’ll play an important support role in daily hotel operations by assisting the Housekeeping Manager and helping ensure guest rooms and public spaces are clean, comfortable, and ready for every stay.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping Manager with daily housekeeping operations.
• Oversee housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson team members during shifts.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and hotel standards are met.
• Provide guidance and support to team members as needed throughout the day.
• Aid in training new team members and reinforcing brand standards.
• Communicate with guests, managers, and coworkers in a positive and professional way.
• Respond to guest requests quickly and help resolve concerns.
• Help maintain organized records and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Step in to support the team wherever needed to keep operations running efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning services, hospitality, healthcare, or multi-unit housing.
• Previous supervisory or team support experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces.
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
