Hotel Housekeeper Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Projects a positive image
• Greets all guests and Team Members
• Actively coaches, mentors and develops team members
• Generates daily assignments for Team Members
• Performs property and guestroom inspections, documenting as required
• Checks and report room statuses as needed
• Inventories and orders departmental supplies
• Facilitates hotel lost-and-found
• Creates work schedules
• Administers payroll
• Acts as “Manager on duty” representing the hotel in resolving guest conflict
• Keeps staff informed of pertinent information
• Liaises with other departments as operational issues arise
• Ensures that an adequate number of vacant/clean/inspected rooms are available throughout the day
• Generates shift reports recording key hotel statistics and incidents
• Limits the number of accidents and injuries by promoting job safety
• Grants PTO and conducts Team Member evaluations
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Associate’s Degree in Related field – required OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience – required OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department – required OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department – required
• Two (2) years of experience in Hotel Housekeeping – preferred
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service
