Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Reads and understands all particulars of banquet event orders.
- Collects all necessary equipment, beverages, etc. to set up designated area.
- Polishes all glassware and prepares needed bar condiments.
- Provides beverage service to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- After function, removes inventory and all beverage equipment to proper storage.
- Retrieves and stores bar glassware to proper storage.
- Communicates any challenges or guest complaints.
- Performs various other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of High School education.
- Minimum of three (3) years in a bartending role.
- Certification in bartending preferred.
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of alcohol serving practices and standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
- Team player.
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests.
- Detail-oriented.
