Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast service
- Drive revenue through rate management, occupancy growth, and local sales efforts
- Maintain Marriott brand standards and ensure successful QA and property inspections
- Manage hotel financial performance including payroll control, expense management, and P&L accountability
- Lead hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching of hotel staff
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and service recovery
- Build relationships with local businesses, contractors, and corporate accounts to increase room demand
- Ensure safety, security, and proper maintenance of the property
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports
Qualifications
- Previous hotel General Manager experience preferred
- Strong experience with Marriott brands or other major hotel brands
- Experience managing a select service hotel such as Fairfield, Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, or similar
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Working knowledge of hotel P&L, labor management, and revenue strategy
- Ability to manage both operations and administrative responsibilities
- Experience with hotel PMS systems and brand reporting platforms
