About the role
As a Front Desk Agent, you are often the first and last impression our guests have of the hotel. You’ll welcome guests with a positive attitude, assist with check-ins and check-outs, manage guest accounts, answer questions, make reservations, and help resolve concerns. Most importantly, you’ll make sure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and taken care of throughout their stay.

Responsibilities
- Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
- Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
- Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
- General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Mitigate customer complaints as needed
Qualifications
- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
- Previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
- Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Availability
We are looking for someone who can work 3–4 days per week, with a schedule that may include both AM and PM shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Compensation
$12 - $13 hourly
