Hotel Floor Technician

The Floor Technician is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the property’s flooring.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all floor equipment
• Public space and guest room carpet cleaning
• Clean, strip, wax, and refinish floors
• Keep the department storage room clean and organized
• Assist in receiving and storage of all equipment and supplies
• Assist in various areas of the hotel housekeeping department as required

Requirements

• Excellent time management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Positive, cheerful disposition
• Experience with Terrazzo flooring preferred
• Weekends are required

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, forward reaching, and walking
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and overhead reaching
• Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs

Working Environment

• Must be able to adapt to all weather conditions

Miscellaneous Requirements

Candidate must be able to pass a physical through Carr Physical Therapy prior to beginning employment.
