Hotel Cook

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our hotel's food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes, according to recipes and hotel standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory and kitchen supplies, including receiving and storing deliveries.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality food standards.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate!

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$16.00-$17.00/hour or more based on experience.

Schedule

Mainly PM shifts from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Open availability preferred.
