Hotel Concierge

Job Summary

Our Hotel Concierges are stationed in a hotel lobby and work seamlessly with the front desk, providing excellent customer service to guests. An ideal concierge must have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience a memorable one. A sincere love of history and the culture of our city is helpful.

Essential Functions

• Greet everyone you meet with a smile and prompt service.
• Extend courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality.
• Give every guest the ultimate compliment of recognition and attention.
• Guide them to the best offerings based on their interest during their time in your city.
• Be knowledgeable and passionate about our products and the most popular things to do at each trolley stop.
• Utilize exceptional sales skills including a strong pitch, prospecting, handling objections, cross-selling, upselling, and closing the deal.
• Present the cost of tours and attractions based on the company's pricing system.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Accurately handle transactions and receipts from sales, secure and maintain ticket inventory and company assets.
• Work independently within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guests.
• Work well with all people while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
• Read, write and speak fluent English to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public.
• Must have good grooming skills and hygiene skills and make a strong, sparkling appearance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service, sales, or information center experience preferred.
