Responsibilities

• Set up the buffet daily, ensuring that coffee, hot food, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service
• Refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils, and remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Take orders, and deliver food and drinks to guests while they are in the dining area
• Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed
• Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hours

Qualifications

• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Experience working in food service is preferred
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers

Pay

$19 - $22 hourly
