About the role
As a Breakfast Attendant, you're one of the first people our guests see each morning. Whether it's a warm welcome, keeping the coffee flowing, or making sure breakfast is fresh and ready, you help set the tone for their entire day.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, genuine attitude
- Prepare, stock, and maintain the breakfast area
- Keep food fresh, organized, and available throughout breakfast
- Keep tables, counters, and serving areas clean and inviting
- Pay attention to guests and step in when they need assistance
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Inform guests about hotel services, directions, and amenities
- Help create the kind of breakfast experience guests remember for the right reasons
- Practice the Basics of Brilliant Hosting at all times
Requirements
- Available to work any day of the week, 5am - 12pm, including holidays and weekends
- Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching
- Some exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Great relationship-building skill and salesmanship
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance
- Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment, protect company property, maintain guest confidentiality, and meet Hampton Inn and The Sunray Companies' quality standards

Physical demands
This is an active position. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, walking, bending, reaching, stocking, cleaning, and keeping breakfast running smoothly.
