Job Duties
- Always maintain cleanliness of work areas, practicing brand standard cleaning procedures.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean, professional and falls within brand standards as well as the Bosselman handbook.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in the lobby and breakfast area.
- Offer assistance to people with disabilities or young children.
- Monitor all guests to ensure their safety when handling hot crock pots, waffle irons or chaffers. Offer assistance when needed.
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, and restocking items.
- Label food containers by USDA standards. Date any unpackaged items by writing the date opened on the container label.
- Follow all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
- Develop positive working relationships with others.
- Provide friendly and competent customer service with a smile.
- Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.
- Assist in other duties, as assigned in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Motel/hotel, retail, cooking or guest service experience preferred.
- Must be able to work well with others and independently.
- Must have reliable transportation and phone.
- Must be available to work holidays, weekends, or any time needed.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
Physical Requirements
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear;
- Sometimes sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
