About the role

Trailhead Social, a premier hotel bar & restaurant located within Martis Valley Lodge (Tapestry Collection by Hilton) in Truckee, is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Bartender to join the team. Responsibilities

• Ensure the bar is stocked with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, mixers, soda, and other additives.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, glasses, and cutlery.
• Verify guests are of legal age to consume alcohol.
• Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
• Present bar bills and process payments.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor guests for overconsumption of alcohol and take necessary steps.
• Lock up and store all beverage, food, and equipment items; handle cash drops and secure the bank.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school education.
• Minimum of two (2) years in a bartending role.
• Certification in bartending preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

• Ability to exceed guest expectations.
