About the role

Our busy restaurant is looking for a bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will take customer orders, mix a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, make beer and wine recommendations, and keep the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Verify customers’ identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations.
• Ensure all customer checks and tabs are paid; record daily sales totals and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, mixed drinks, and more.
• Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer inventories, and maintain a full supply of glassware; notify management of any supply issues or shortages.
• Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Preference given to candidates with food-service industry experience.
• Strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer-service skills.
• Impeccable time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.

Pay

$5 – $6 hourly.
