Job Description
Hot Tub Technician must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. They predominantly work on the field (will go to a client's home to install hot tub equipment and or make repairs) but also in the store.
Responsibilities
- Install hot tub parts; and test them to ensure they are working correctly
- Educate the client on how to use and maintain their hot tub
- Perform maintenance and provide customer support
- Diagnose problems and offer solutions to repair them
- Order parts needed for repairs
- Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
Qualifications
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
- Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
- Ability to work independently without much supervision
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to effectively manage time
