Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations require all candidates to pass a background check and drug screening to obtain a gaming license. Medical Marijuana cards are accepted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Physical requirements: standing for long periods, reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to manage phone lines in a moderately loud environment

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists and reservations, and escort guests to their tables
• Maintain an organized seating chart and communicate accurate wait times
• Support overall front-of-house operations and ensure entrance and lobby areas are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and present clean menus
• Maintain a current seating chart, ensuring balanced server rotation
• Answer phone calls courteously, provide information, and take reservations or to-go orders
• Keep the host stand, entryway, and front-of-house areas clean and tidy at all times
• Monitor dining room flow and coordinate with servers, bussers, and managers for timely seating and smooth service
• Assist with opening and closing side work as needed
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when appropriate
• Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
