Hostess

Responsibilities

• Assign tables and seat guests
• Process restaurant checks
• Practice Basics of Brilliant Hosting at all times
• Operate POS system to process checks and other transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of station, host stand, highchairs, and entrance to restaurant
• Answer phone with proper telephone etiquette
• Complete all reasonable requests by management within ability

Requirements

• Minimum lifting of 20 lbs
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
• Perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching
• Tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals
• Stand and/or walk for prolonged periods
