Are you a people person with a passion for hospitality? Do you love making a great first impression? The Hungry Tarpon Restaurant at Robbie's Marina is seeking a fantastic Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our lively, Keys-style waterfront restaurant!

We're renowned for our stunning scenic views, tropical atmosphere, and status as a premier dining destination with an ocean view in the Florida Keys. If you're looking to bring your energy and charm to a place where every meal feels like a mini-vacation, you've found your spot!

Your Mission: Setting the Scene for Unforgettable Meals

Your mission is to set the scene for unforgettable meals. As our Host/Hostess, you'll be the friendly face that kicks off our guests' amazing dining experience. You'll juggle seating, manage reservations, and ensure every visitor feels right at home in our bustling, laid-back paradise.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcomer: Greet and welcome every guest with a genuine, friendly smile.
• Seating Strategist: Escort guests to their tables and present our delicious menus.
• Flow Master: Skillfully manage our waitlist and seating arrangements to keep the dining room running smoothly.
• Reservation Royalty: Answer phone calls, expertly take reservations, and share information about our awesome restaurant.
• Communication King/Queen: Chat with the kitchen team to help ensure speedy service and accurate order delivery.
• Table Transformer: Lend a hand with cleaning and setting up tables, keeping everything spotless and ready.
• Guest Guru: Handle all guest inquiries, special requests, or even complaints with patience and professionalism – you're a problem-solver with a smile!
• Hospitality Heart: Previous experience in a hospitality, hotel, or restaurant setting is a big plus!
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with SkyTab POS systems and OpenTable, would be awesome.
• Communication Charm: Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
• Multitasking Marvel: You can handle multiple tasks like a pro in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail Detective: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills keep things humming.
• Phone Ph.D.: Knowledge of phone etiquette and the ability to confidently handle reservations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hospitality, hotel, or restaurant setting is a big plus!
• Familiarity with SkyTab POS systems and OpenTable, would be awesome.

Pay

Pay: $12.79 - $15.00 per hour + tips

Schedule

Expected Hours: 20 – 50 hours per week
Shifts: Day shift, Evening shift, Morning shift – we need flexibility!
