Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests
• Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
• Clear, clean, and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest
• Sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
• Complete other tasks requested/required by the manager on duty

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Speaking, reading, and comprehending instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as conversing comfortably with customers in English
• Flexible schedule - ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• A high level of organization, cleanliness, and a sense of urgency
• Basic knowledge of operating a computer/tablet

Qualifications

• Outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
