Host Home Provider

About the role

Open your home to someone with a disability and make a positive impact on their life by becoming a Foster Care/Host Home Provider. This independently contracted position provides a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities in the Maryville/Greater Knoxville, TN area.

You will offer a safe and comfortable home while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs of the individual, helping them live a high-quality life. The role involves establishing a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the person you support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional
• Must successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Pay

Host Home Providers are reimbursed at a per-diem rate and receive monthly room and board from the individual they support. This income is tax exempt.
