Host for Boketto Restaurant

Responsibilities

• Provide polished, fun, personalized, modern, warm, and sincere service.
• Check in all employees and update the OpenTable system.
• Answer the phone, take reservations, and process takeout orders.
• Ensure menus are clean and organized.
• Greet, check in, and seat guests.
• Print special chits from OpenTable with instructions and hand off to servers upon their check-in.
• Review OpenTable reservations and plan the shift layout.
• Capture and utilize important guest information in OpenTable.
• Work with the floor manager to ensure accurate wait times.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized restrooms and host stand.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills (interacting with management, servers, team members, and guests).
• Basic reading and computer skills.
• Ability to visually scan the restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Schedule

This is an hourly position with varying days and hours based on business needs. The restaurant operates seven days a week, with shifts starting as early as 9 AM and ending as late as 2 AM.
