About the role

We make health happen at Bupa, a health insurer and provider. Our retirement living facility, Richmond Villages Wood Norton, offers personalized care and a luxurious environment. The role involves serving residents in the restaurant and café, preparing trays, and providing room service.

Responsibilities

• Serve in the restaurant and café at mealtimes
• Set up tables in the restaurant and café
• Prepare trays and provide room service to village residents
• Serve drinks at the bar (for applicants over 18)
• Ensure the restaurant and café are tidy and meet all high standards
• Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times
• Support other areas as required, such as serving meals to or removing trays from resident’s rooms, restocking resident’s personal kitchens, or delivering refreshments to other locations in the village

Requirements

You are a person who cares deeply for others and is driven to make a significant impact on people's lives. You have a background in customer service, and potentially some experience in catering or kitchen roles, though training is provided. You excel in communication and thrive in a tight-knit team setting, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You are committed to providing outstanding service to our residents, applying your expertise in maintaining a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary environment.

Qualifications

No specific qualifications are required, but a background in customer service and potentially some experience in catering or kitchen roles is beneficial. Training will be provided.
