About the Role
Part-Time Host position at Poston Butte Golf Club in Florence, AZ. We are seeking a driven individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused organization. As part of Troon, you will join a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting and escort guests to their assigned table.
- Control the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following and enforcing check issue procedures.
- Assign opening and/or closing side duties.
- Supervise side work and ensure completed lists of setups for all stations before departure of service staff.
- Maintain reservation book, take incoming telephone calls, note reservations, and special requests by guests.
- Remain knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, and general service procedures.
- Maintain standards of appearance and cleanliness in all service areas.
- Remain visible on the dining room floor and be easily accessible to guests, staff, and management.
- Check all tables daily before service to ensure proper settings.
- Assist with side work and/or help service staff with bussing tables and taking cocktail orders.
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
Requirements
- No experience necessary; we will train.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Demonstrates an outgoing and friendly attitude.
