Responsibilities
SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year. Students are 14–18 years old and come from countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
Requirements
To be a host family, you should have a caring heart, a stable home, and a willingness to welcome a student into your family. We welcome various types of families, including:
- Two-parent families (with or without children)
- Single parents
- Single adults
- Retired couples
- Empty nesters
About our students
Our students are excited to experience American family life, attend their local high school, and become a true member of your family while sharing their own culture and traditions. Every SHARE! student:
- Speaks English
- Has comprehensive medical insurance
- Has spending money for personal expenses
- Is carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States
