Host an International High School Exchange Student (Greene County, AR)

About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by opening your home to a high school exchange student.
• Host a student aged 14–18 from countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and more.
• Engage in cultural exchange by sharing your own culture and traditions with the student.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the student to attend their local high school and become a true member of your family.

Requirements

• Be a Two-parent family (with or without children), Single parent, Single adult, Retired couple, or Empty nester.
• Have a caring heart and a willingness to welcome a student into your family.
• Have a stable home.

Qualifications

• Students speak English.
• Students have comprehensive medical insurance.
• Students have spending money for personal expenses.
• Students are carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.

Skills

• Caring and welcoming personality.
• Ability to adapt to new cultures and environments.
• Knowledge of basic English.
