Host an International High School Exchange Student (Conway, AR)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student.
• Attend orientation sessions with the exchange student.
• Support the exchange student in adjusting to a new culture and learning English.
• Ensure the exchange student attends their host family's local high school.
• Help the exchange student with personal expenses and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a stable home environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Have a valid driver’s license if driving is required.
• Willingness to provide a warm and supportive home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience living and working internationally is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to new cultures and lifestyles.
• Open-mindedness and willingness to learn about different customs and traditions.
