Host an International High School Exchange Student (Benton County, AR)

About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by hosting an international high school student.
• Attend your local high school with the exchange student.
• Share your own culture and traditions with the exchange student.
• Welcome the exchange student into your family.

Requirements

• Students are 14–18 years old and come from various countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
• Students are carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.
• Students speak English.
• Students have comprehensive medical insurance.
• Students have spending money for personal expenses.

Qualifications

• Caring individuals and families willing to welcome an international student into their home.
• Two-parent families (with or without children), single parents, single adults, retired couples, and empty nesters are all welcome.

Skills

• Willingness to share your culture and traditions with the exchange student.
• Ability to provide a stable and welcoming environment for the exchange student.
