Host an International High School Exchange Student (Chambers County, TX)
About the role
ERDT/SHARE! is a global non-profit educational foundation that has been providing international student exchange services to host families and international teens since 1974. SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.
Student Information
Students are 14–18 years old and come from countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others. Our students are excited to experience American family life, attend their local high school, and become a true member of your family while sharing their own culture and traditions.
Student Support
Every SHARE! student Speaks English, Has comprehensive medical insurance, and Has spending money for personal expenses. They are also carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.
Host Family Requirements
There is no "perfect" host family. We welcome a variety of families, including:
- Two-parent families (with or without children)
- Single parents
- Single adults
- Retired couples
- Empty nesters
