Description
SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host an international exchange student! Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for the exchange student
- Enroll the exchange student in their local high school
- Attend to the exchange student's needs, including meals and activities
- Ensure the exchange student is integrated into the community
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a stable income
- Must have a home that is suitable for hosting an exchange student
- Must have a good understanding of English
Qualifications
- Willingness to share your home and culture with an international student
- Ability to provide a positive and supportive environment
- Open-mindedness to cultural differences
- Flexibility to adapt to a new living situation
