Responsibilities

• Greet customers
• Help guests with reservations and guide them to their tables
• Give guests accurate wait time estimates
• Provide customers with menus and answer any initial questions
• Optimize seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
• Answer phones
• Schedule reservations
• Perform side work
• Set up stations
• Lightly perform restaurant maintenance

Qualifications

• Must be friendly, hardworking, team-oriented, punctual, honest, and comfortable with customer service
• Must be available to work consistently, always have a positive attitude and be an excellent communicator
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
