Duties/Responsibilities
- Rotate through Human Resources to support onboarding and orientation activities, assist with employee engagement initiatives, and gain exposure to recruiting, training, and HR operations.
- Support Front Desk/Guest Services by assisting with guest check-in and check-out processes, supporting guest service standards and service recovery efforts, and learning front-of-house operations and guest experience best practices.
- Observe Housekeeping & Facilities operations, support coordination between housekeeping and facilities teams, and gain insight into room readiness, inspections, and asset care.
- Aid in Accounting & Finance by assisting with basic accounting tasks and reporting, learning hotel financial operations, budgeting, and cost controls, and gaining exposure to payroll, invoicing, and financial compliance.
- Support Sales & Marketing by assisting with sales initiatives and marketing campaigns, supporting social media, promotions, and collateral development, and gaining exposure to group sales, events, and brand positioning.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Strong interest in hotel management and operations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different teams.
