About the role

The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker II is a competent support services employee responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. This role provides excellent customer service to all patients and employees and may provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work.

  • Demonstrates specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist.
  • Meets mutually agreed-upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
  • Integrates ethics in all areas of practice and adheres to confidentiality and patient’s right policies.
  • Completes work within acceptable time limits and demonstrates the ability to set priorities.
  • Able to perform several tasks simultaneously during peak workload situations.
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed.
  • Maintains a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
