Hospitality and Event Coordinator

Core Responsibilities

  • Cook up a schedule for multi-purpose rooms/meeting rooms for both internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Hospitality Manager and Office Administrator on event planning, setup, and execution.
  • Handle food and beverage orders, set up, AV, and other tasks related to meetings and events.
  • Consult with meeting contacts to clarify event requests and provide advice on catering, room set-up, and logistics.
  • Prepare facilities to meet the unique needs of each client, including any special or creative requirements.
  • Manage beverage service for clients, guests, and department meetings, including set-up, refreshments, and clean-up.
  • Support firm-marketing sponsored functions, including special after-hours events.
  • Provide a professional and friendly demeanor, emphasizing customer service to clients, attorneys, and staff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with caterers, event planners, and other relevant vendors for cost-effective catering and meeting services.
  • Process invoices for catering orders and ensure proper supplies are maintained in kitchens, galleys, coffee areas, conference rooms, and lobbies.
  • Assist with backup receptionist duties as needed.
  • Adhere to Firm processes and policies as directed.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in hospitality services.
  • A bachelor’s degree and/or law firm experience preferred.
  • Outgoing, courteous, professional, and dependable personality.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing workflows.
  • Experience using Outlook and Word.

Pay

The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
