Join our team leading 110 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, and Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital. Lead a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world and become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community. Team members actively participate in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Direct the clinical and operational activities of the Hospital Medicine team across 3 hospitals with more than 110 FTEs.
- Drive performance and continuous improvement by implementing, monitoring, and optimizing hospitalist programs, workflows, quality initiatives, efficiency programs, and operational processes to improve patient care and hospital performance.
- Work closely with physician leadership, staffing, and talent development to recruit, onboard, mentor, evaluate, and develop teams.
- Build and maintain executive and hospital relationships by serving as the primary physician leader for assigned sites, partnering with hospital executives, service line leaders, and operational stakeholders to achieve contract objectives and strengthen client satisfaction.
- Oversee quality, risk management, and clinical excellence by leading quality assurance and risk management efforts, monitoring clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, addressing incidents and complaints, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe patient care.
- Ensure financial and business performance by maintaining regional profit-and-loss accountability, monitoring key performance metrics, supporting contract retention and business development efforts, and helping implement new site programs successfully.
Qualifications
- 5 years of hospital medicine medical director experience.
- Board Certified/board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule
Monday–Friday onsite, working both administrative and clinical roles.

Pay
Annual compensation up to $400,000 to $425,000. Eligible for additional productivity and quality bonuses.
