About the Role
Overnight Hospitalist Physician (Nocturnist) providing coverage in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage non-ICU adult admissions during night shifts.
- Respond to codes with rapid team support.
- Perform necessary procedures overnight.
Schedule
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts, with options for 7 days on/7 days off or shorter day stretches.
Requirements
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
- Preferred experience with Epic EMR.
Key Duties
- Provide adult patient care overnight.
- Handle critical responses as needed.
- Ensure timely credentialing for hospital privileges.
