Hospitalist Physician (Nocturnist)

About the Role

This facility is seeking a Night Shift Hospitalist for locum tenens support to fill an immediate need. The role involves handling non-Intensive Care Unit adult admissions for a variety of presentations and responding to critical care codes, including participation in rapid response situations.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Primary schedule: Tuesday to Monday (7 days on, 7 days off)
• Alternative schedule: 2-4 day stretches interspersed

Responsibilities

• Admit and manage non-ICU adult patients with diverse medical presentations
• Respond to critical care codes and participate in rapid response situations
• Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Requirements

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Pay

Pay rate: $184.30 - $199.50 per hour
