Hospitalist Physician
About the role
Full-time work Monday–Friday (7 am–4 pm) or part-time available. No call or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Each week physicians conduct rounds at assigned facilities. This is a mobile practice; physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, typically visiting 2–3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each assigned facility
- Treat approximately 20–30 patients per day across 2–3 facilities
- Document patient encounters in real time using a wound-specific EMR
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO) in the state where you will practice
- Minimum commitment of three weekdays per week
Paid Training
Paid training is provided during onboarding plus a six-month wound care fellowship.

Pay
W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits.
Schedule
- Full-time schedule: 4–5 days per week, approximately 45 hours
- Part-time schedule: minimum of three days per week
- No nights, no call, no weekend clinical responsibilities
