Emergency Medicine Physician

About the role

This role involves providing emergency medical care within a hospital setting, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of conditions. The physician will stabilize critically ill patients, perform or assist with related procedures, and collaborate with the Emergency Medicine team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients
• Managing emergencies
• Ensuring appropriate follow-up care
• Additional duties or responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

• Full, unrestricted medical licensure in the US
• Preferred credentials: ABEM/AOBEM Board Certification

Skills

• Experience with POCUS
• Procedural sedation
• Intubation
• Advanced emergency procedures
• Prior VA or federal healthcare experience
• Comfort practicing independently in a community emergency setting
