About the role
Serve as an Emergency Medicine Physician at a rural hospital, providing high-quality urgent care to a mixed-acuity patient population. Manage approximately 11,500 annual emergency department visits with 6 beds and a dedicated triage room. Provide 24/7 physician coverage in two 12-hour shifts, responding to all hospital codes. Utilize EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care efficiently. Handle diverse medical cases with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes. Collaborate within a team that includes a hospitalist program and established emergency protocols.
