Job Summary
HCA Florida Poincanna Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team at HCA Florida Auburndale FSER in Auburndale, Florida. The new freestanding emergency room opened in January 2026.
About the Role
Qualified candidates must be:
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
- Or be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with three years of Emergency Medicine experience

Auburndale FSER Features:
- Annual patient visits: projected 19,000 per year (52 per day)
- Fully integrated with HCA Florida Poincanna Hospital
- 12 private patient care beds
- Dedicated trauma room
- Dedicated pediatric treatment room
Patient needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus or other HCA facility with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
