Requirements

• Must be comfortable practicing solo in a resource-limited setting.
• Stabilize and ship trauma.

About The Practice

17-bed hospital with high-volume ED
Solo coverage with support from CHAs and telehealth
Cerner EHR with statewide connectivity
No surgery; OB unit is midwife-led with risk-out protocols
Referral center: Alaska Native Medical Center (via air transport)

Ideal Candidate

• ABEM-certified
• Experienced in solo ED coverage
• Mission-driven, culturally humble, and adaptable
• Alaska license preferred (can be supported)
