Hospitalist Physician
About the Role
Join a cohesive and long-standing team of 16 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The team is supported by a practice coordinator and clinical performance nurse, and actively participates in hospital committees such as CHF and mortality reviews. Monthly team and internal staff meetings focus on hospital or group initiatives, addressing barriers, and recognizing provider contributions.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex patient cases in a hospital medicine setting.
- Work within a closed ICU supported by intensivist coverage; no procedural expectations.
- Collaborate with residents who handle codes and rapid responses while the team attends to patients.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in family or internal medicine.
- New internal medicine graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Support for H1 and J1 Visa candidates, including in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing experts. All required filing fees are covered by Sound.
Schedule
7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
