About the Role
Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group, inclusive of clinics, doctors, and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care. As part of our expansion to best serve the needs of our communities, we are adding a Hospitalist Nocturnist Physician to our care team at Lovelace Women's Hospital.

Schedule
12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations, including obtaining patient histories, ordering labs and diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals.
- Uphold excellent bedside manner and create a positive patient experience.
- Explain medical procedures and plans of care to patients.
- Manage inpatient care, including rounding, admissions, discharges, and consults.
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical histories.
- Document patient care services in EPIC.
- Attend departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested.
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
