Nocturnist Hospitalist
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours
- Admit patients from the emergency department
- Cross-cover and manage existing hospitalized patients
- Respond to overnight clinical changes and rapid responses
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams
- Ensure thorough documentation and effective handoffs
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for or active Maine medical license
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
