Hospitalist-Nocturnist

About the role

Nocturnist to be part of growing team at Stamford Hospital, affiliated with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, consultation, and teaching to residents in the Department of Medicine and Family Practice.
• Provide medical consultation as necessary for Surgery and OB/GYN Residents.
• Provide emergency inpatient coverage of medical patients on the non-teaching medical service.

Requirements

• MD/DO License; CT Medical License or the ability to secure one.
• BE/BC required; Internal Medicine highly preferred.
• Family Practice & sufficient in-patient experience to effectively carry out essential responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, critical care, and computer skills.
