Hospitalist/Nocturnist

Role Overview Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a Nocturnist hospitalist team providing comprehensive inpatient care in a busy, physician-led organization. Family Practice physicians with sufficient inpatient experience are also considered. The physician will manage patients from admission to discharge at a Critical Access Hospital with a Transitional Care Unit, primarily working nocturnal shifts. Key Responsibilities Provide inpatient care, including admission, management, and discharge.Support a regional team offering 24/7 coverage.Assist in emergency situations, including resuscitations and trauma red, utilizing internal medicine skills.Work a schedule of seven days on, seven days off, with 12-hour shifts and onsite presence during shifts.Opportunities to support day shifts at other hospitals may be available. Qualifications & Skills MD, DO, or equivalent degree; eligible for Minnesota medical license.Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine; Family Practice board-certified/eligible with inpatient experience may be considered.
