Hospitalist Nocturnist

About the role

This position is allocated for an ABIM certified/eligible physician trained in internal medicine and interested in hospital medicine. Hospitalist Nocturnist (Internal Medicine)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient care
• Participate in teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students
• Practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT
• Practice telemedicine with Intermountain Health rural hospitals and outreach programs
• Rotate through hospitals throughout the Salt Lake Valley
• Work 12 night shifts per month

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Successful completion of an ACGME Accredited US Residency Training Program
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Experienced Hospitalists who are Family Medicine trained will be considered on a case by case basis
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
